Dunnellon, located in Marion County, is known as the “Treasure of the Rainbow River.” It has two beautiful rivers, the Rainbow River and the Withlacoochee River, that offer a host of outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, and fishing. It was also a hub of the phosphate mining industry in the late 19th century.
