Sydney
Our youngest team member, Sydney Crandall, brings a fresh perspective to the content of Central Florida Weather. As the primary content writer, her passion for writing shines through in each weather update and feature article. Sydney’s burgeoning expertise in SEO, coupled with her disciplined research skills, ensures that our content remains relevant and accurate.
Sydney is also an accomplished artist and photographer, contributing many of the stunning photos you see on our site. Whether she’s capturing a sun-drenched beach or a rare bird species, her appreciation for Florida’s wildlife, weather, and unique cultures is evident. Apart from writing and photography, Sydney also enjoys playing piano, bringing a little rhythm into our work.
Theresa
Meet Theresa Crandall, the creative genius behind Central Florida Weather. As Steve’s wife and the chief editor, she not only polishes our content to perfection but also drives the overall direction of our site. The idea of a dedicated weather site for Central Florida was hers, born out of her love for the region and its unique weather patterns.
Theresa is a gifted artist, specializing in rock painting, and also contributes photos and videos of everything from beautiful cloud formations to local wildlife. Her skills in organic SEO are crucial in keeping our site optimized and user-friendly.
Steve
I built the site and I manage the technical aspects. The rest, like the writing, filming of the various videos and coming up with the topics, is somewhat a family affair.
I am a bit of an indoors person, and I’m not the kind to wear flip flops – but I fly the drone, snap some photos, shoot some video and write some of the articles.
I am a weather enthusiast and it led me to joining the American Meteorological Society – I am very interested in the weather and the various systems and conditions that control it.
